Step 1 – Download the SKYVIEW App from the App Store (Apple devices) or Google Play Store (Android devices).
Step 2 – Open App and register your account with an email address or mobile number. IMPORTANT: The State/Region value is automatically specified based on your location and can also be manually changed. However, after the account is registered, this field value cannot be changed.
Step 3 – Unpack and assemble your SkyView lamp and plug in. The SkyView lamp should pulse with red light once it is plugged in. If it is not, press and hold the dial for 10 seconds until you see the flashing red light. This indicates SkyView is in ‘pairing mode’ where it is waiting to link to your app.
Step 4 – While the red light is pulsing and SkyView is in pairing mode, you can add and connect your mobile device. To automatically add devices, the app must be granted Wi-Fi and Bluetooth permissions. When SkyView is in pairing mode, the app should automatically detect the lamp and you should see a device image appear on the app homescreen under “All Devices”.
Step 5 – Next you will connect SkyView to your local network. Now that you have added your SkyView to the app, you will be prompted to connect SkyView to your local network. If your smartphone device is connected to a Wi-Fi network, it will automatically select that network to use. IMPORTANT: You must be connected to a 2.4GHz network otherwise it will not connect. DO NOT USE 5GHz or “5G” NETWORK.
