You can select one (1) of four (4) preset “Quick Modes”: Sleeping Mode, Reading Mode, Relaxing Mode, and Working Mode.

  • Tell me more about what I can do with the ‘Edit Light’ feature.

See below for the different options available when using the "Edit Light" feature, you may also view our video tutorial, which shows how to edit your light’s color and brightness within the app.

Daytime Edit: The default setting for daytime mode is full brightness and blue skies, with a gradient from blue sky to white light from top to bottom. However, you can modify the blue to white gradient with the 'Edit Light' feature and make your daytime mode less blue and whiter at the top. You can also reduce the brightness of daytime mode with ‘Edit Light.’

Evening Edit: The default setting for evening mode is a calming amber color light with a gentle gradient from dark orange at the top to deeper yellow at the bottom. However, using ‘Edit Light’ you can modify the color to be more white (warm white) or even more red (more nighttime circadian-friendly). With 'Edit Light' you can also reduce the brightness.

Night Edit: Night mode provides a circadian friendly red light. However, using 'Edit Light' you can adjust the color to be more amber.

  • What is a ‘half sunset’ vs a ‘full sunset’ with SKYVIEW™?

SKYVIEW™ offers two (2) kinds of sunset experiences — “Half Sunset” and “Full Sunset."

Half Sunset (default) provides a setting sun, followed by skyglow, and then directly transitions to evening mode. The only difference from “Full Sunset” is that Half Sunset eliminates complete darkness and fades directly from skyglow into evening mode.

Full Sunset is the most similar to a natural sunset and showcases a setting sun, followed by twilight, then 1 second of complete darkness, and finally transitions to evening mode.

The biological benefits remain the same in both a "Half Sunset” and “Full Sunset," it is designed to accommodate to your preferences.

This feature can be accessed, when editing your light’s schedule via the “Edit Schedule” button, check out our video tutorial for more information on editing your schedule.
